- What does the lossless method keep?
- It keeps the exact image scan data of the JPEG and only deletes the metadata segments (EXIF, XMP, IPTC, comments), so there is zero quality change and the file usually gets a little smaller.
- Does this remove everything identifying?
- It removes the standard metadata blocks. It does not change visible pixels, so anything shown in the photo itself remains. For PNG/WebP the re-encode path also drops embedded colour profiles.
