Frequently asked questions
- Which files do I actually need?
- favicon.ico and a 32 px PNG cover almost every browser; apple-touch-icon.png (180 px) covers iOS, and the 192/512 px PNGs are for a web app manifest. The included README lists the link tags.
- What image should I start from?
- A square image at least 512×512 with a bold, simple mark works best. The tool centre-crops to a square, so leave a little breathing room around the edges.
